High on life . . . Or am I ?

Today marks 1 year. It's not that I made it a point to remember. It just happens that 2 of my close friends have birthdays falling on this day as well - yet another example of how shit is thrown at me.

The events of this day last year, I can still vividly remember, also coz it was the 1st time I celebrated Jiashun's b'day with him. Also coz it was my 1st time at Jazz@South Bridge. Also coz ... too many of 'em. Perhaps that was the last time I met Amrit as well! *interesting*

The past year has been one of ups and downs. Lots of tears shed, (hopefully not as many more to be shed) & lots of lessons learnt.

It has seen me go through a whirlwind of changes. A Before & After shot would have proven this.

And so comes the question - Am I high on life?
I don't think so. But I have come to accept more things, perhaps only coz I'm numb.
I'm still very much the perfectionist - but am now one who aims to accept imperfections.

Kudos to phy, I say. =) Cheers . . . to a better life!
