1 year & a bit ...

I look back & think about how things have changed over this past 1 year. And it has not failed to amaze me. Amazing how that driving force behind everything can change me so quickly.

That "do not look at me & pity me" attitude.
That "I'll make you regret your decision" mentality.
That "love & not expect anything in return" decision I made that has oddly led me to this.
That "I've been through so much that nothing much else can touch me" attitude.

Life and all its challenges. As much as I would like to say, "Give it to me, baby! I'll always be ready!", I know I can never be ready. But I'll still say, I'll do my best =)

I've once again come to a crossroad of sorts. I can take my time to ponder left or right. What with the blizzard blowing in one path & a drought happening in the other... Hahaha... I love my analogys.

Sometimes I wish I could drench that drought. Someone says it's belief. But I can't bring myself to have blind faith anymore. I believe what I see & I judge for myself. I trust my eyes. I do not trust words. Words just fleet by most of the time, at least that's what I've learnt.

The blizzard is happening alright. Like it knocks the wind out of me sometimes just thinking about it. That "stampede in my heart & blizzard in my stomach".

And so, it has taken me a year and a bit to get this far. Not too shabby I think. *wink*
