The Edge

Have you ever loved someone so much you're willing to jump off the edge for them?
Ever loved someone so much you'll do almost anything for them?

The saddest part of loving someone like that is when the other person just thinks you're stupid and don't love yourself enough and that you have to love someone more to love him/her.

Ever loved someone so much it hurts so much you just want to run away from it all and perhaps try to find happiness in someone else whom you love less?

Perhaps that is the true happiness that humans are supposed to find.

Lies.
I hate lies.
Even those white lies that parents tell kids just to keep them from screaming in the supermarket aisle.
"Oh, I'll get you those gummybears tomorrow, I promise." and Whalah! no gummybears at all tomorrow!
Empty promises, they make jaded people.
Lies, they make jaded & broken people.
